I get no spark at the plug on my 1984 TRX200. The coil checks OK - 9.28K ohms to ground, primary to ground .3ohms, green to ground OK. The pulse generator measures 32 ohms.
The CDI unit gets 12 volts to the gray, black yellow to the coil is OK, green to ground is OK, blue/yellow to the pulse generator is OK, black has no continuity with the ignition switch.
I have swapped the CDI unit with a known good one but no luck.
Got any ideas?
Also, what does the black/red wire to the ac generator do?
Where physically is the inhibitor switch and what is it's function?
Would appreciate any input.
