polaris 500 h.o. oil tank

polaris 500 h.o. oil tank

I was wondering if the oil tank on the polaris 500 h.o. was a two part tank joined in the middle, or if it was a one piece tank. Because their is a seam al the way around down to the drain plug.

I believe that the aluminum tanks are a 2 piece, but the plastic tanks are a 1 piece

Thanks, thats what I was thinking but wasn't exactly sure. I am pretty sure it is one piece but was just wondering.

its just the way tehy are made ..they have a seem from the mold! [my 100th post....wooot!]
