i blocked off my parking brake and removed the cable. i heard that a cr250 clutch lever and perch will work on it? i figured if it did i would buy one on ebay.

 

somebody out there has to kno i just need some reassurance.

 

i think the lever would be kinda short seeing as how its on a dirtbike, any perch will fit, just get a lever to go along with it.

 

u think the stock lever would work?

 

im not sure if the stock lever would work but a perch is only $8 from a yamaha or honda dealer, buy a perch, see if you can re-use your stock lever and if you cant, just buy a new one, they're about $8 too

I tryed to use one on my 250r and it didnt work was not enough fluid to stop. It worked on the stand but not in the sand, pissed me off. had it polished and everything.

 

oops i thought you were talking about the brake perch resevor

 

the small cycle shop near me has a cr250 perch and lever hanging on the wall, the tag says it is an easy pull cr250 setup but it is in reality just the cr250 used, stock, perch and lever with a new point drilled in it for the ball further down so it gets more leverage.

there sellin it for 50$.... haha wat a rip off

 

need quick reply, i'm bout to buy one on ebay and it says its for 86-97 years cr250s. It should fit right?
