Default Trailblazer Rear Brake Bleeding

My wife's 250 TB is acting up brakewise on the rear. There isn't any resistance on the pedal and when I hit the brake lever, I can't get the rear to grab enough to lock up, just the fronts. Any special order the two bleeders need to be bled? Better yet, anyone know where I can scam a downloadable copy of the service manual?

this is one thing polaris should get rid of...those stupid brakes working all together. what u should do is start bleeding teh top one with the front brake lever. then bleed it the rest of the way using the bottom and pumping the foot brake. First thing dont use the back breaks!!! theyre not supposed to eb used by themself they have to be used in junction with the front.

Thanks tbsleeper, I agree about using just the rears. I think Polaris put that pedal for the rear on it to be intended for use when shifting from drive, neutral, and reverse. I'll try beeding the handbrake first then.

Default Trailblazer Rear Brake Bleeding

I had to bleed the crap out of my rear brakes so they would work on the scrammy...I could use my finger to push the brake all the way down........Here is how I bleed my rear brake.....Go to a hardware store get about a foot of vinyl (flexible) tubing......the best is the clear type....loosen the bleeder screw and then put the tubing on the bleeder screw.. fill up your brake resevoir..then place the other end of the tube in the brake fluid bottle (so when you pump, it will just go back in with the rest of the fluid back in the bottle) then when the fluid gets low in the brake resevoir just fill it back up then put the bottle back on the other end of the tube.......I just keep doing this process for about six or seven times untill nothing but straight brake fluid starts coming out of the vinyl tubing...you'll see air in the tubing when your bleeding.......then when you get nothing but fluid for a couple of rounds just tighten the bleeder...........fixed my brake problem. ~and plus I have found that that is the best way to bleed the brakes.
