gonna order one soon. got the money burning a hole in my pocket.

curious, tho. anyone got one on theirs? what brand do you have or prefer?

can you run a skid plate and still have room for a chain tensioner?

ive seen quite a few out there.

To me, a chain tensionor is more important. You cant run both. The stock sprocket gaurd does a good job.

my only advice........if I were to get a a swingarm guard..go with one that is .25 and not .19...................thicker and stronger.

I have the pure polaris on mine and it has taken some pretty hard hits. I did notice the other day that the plate is getting really close to the metal chain gaurd and needs to be bent back out.

I took mine off. I had the Pure Polaris one and while it did take a beating it also caused more problems than it solved. The stock guard discs do great and cause less hang-ups.

If you've got money to spend either go with a chain tensioner, new handlebars, grips or even better ideas would be to upgrade your gear---better boots, helmet, clothes, goggles, chest protector......
