Default ??? RAPTOR cam top tourque specs ???
Just purchached a new HotCam for my Raptor and need to know the cam top tourque specs if anyone knows. Thanks

Dou you mean the gear that goes on the cam(I think 10lbs)? or the entire valve cover(7.2lbs)?

yea, i guess it wouldnt be the cam top ,thats the whole cover. whats the peice called that is (10lbs.)?

The cam gear is 14 ft lbs, use RED loctite and make sure you get the decompression mechanism together properly. The cover bolts are 7 ft lbs and use a criss-cross pattern to tighten them.

Aren't the cam gear bolts less torque like 9 ft.lbs. for the hotcams? It gives it to you in the instructions.

Maybe they are? I used the factory specs on the Stage 2 in my 686 and Craycraft's new cam in my 730, it didn't seem to hurt either one.
