I have the opportunity to buy a new-in-crate 2003 600 twin for a lot less than a 2004 - like OTD for a hair under $6K A 2004 would be close to $7K...

Any reasons I'd be better off spending an extra $1000 just to get the '04 ?? The only differences I know of are the '03 comes with rack extensions and chrome wheels, were the '04s do not..

I am more concerned with engine performance / bug issues than anything else... as far as resale, I don't care - I usually drive my ATVs 'till the wheels fall off!
