Hey Pudl, or Ken you might know this too.....but what happens if it is raining the day of the race. Are these harescrambles delayed to rain, or do we race in the rain?? Just wondering, they are talking rain late tonight and early morning. Thanks Brad

 

Normally they are run in any weather. Now if the flood gates open, or if lightning and twisters are around....then no race. Nothin' like blastin' through the woods as a bolt blows up a tree next to you. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Not looking good over here(near omaha/council bluffs area...strait west of bussey) Ken and pudl......they are talking hail and storms all night long.....how do I know if the races are cancelled. I don't really want to drive clear over there and find out they are cancelled. I can't seem to get the website working(www.iowaatvharescrambleseries.com) but does it say something on there about rain cancellations?? Or maybe I shouldn't worry and we'll race in any weather...???.....If you have time, give me some info/advice. Thanks a lot.

 

One more thing, if you guys have time, would someone check for me and see how you interpet the time I should be there to sign up for the class C....I checked a while ago, when the site worked for me, and I remember it was open at 730am, but I don't know when it closes....thanks again Brad

Have any of you guys ridden the Waukon race coming up in July? I haven't raced in 10 years(used to race motox in highschool), I just got the topend freshened on my Mojave, got the suspension sorted out and I'm looking for a place to race. I know I'll be in the bottom of the c class on a 250cc four stroke, but I want to try it out before dropping some big coin on a new quad this winter....what was the Waukon course like? Is it much motox stuff or all woods riding? If anyone could help, that would be great. Thanks.
