Default spark plug????????

The predator uses a ngk dcpr8e should I always gap the new plug or is it ready to go out of the box? The only reason I ask Is the service manual states to gap the plug at .035, but yet when I pulled the stock plug that came with the bike I checked the gap and it was the same as the new plug out of the box which was around .030. any suggestions would be helpful

Always check the gap on a new plug and adjust it if needed to spec....

Default spark plug????????

why would polaris state .035 as the gap for the plug and my factory plug was at .030?

Human error???? .005 won't make a huge difference but go with the spec....
