Default jetting help

ok well i got a 99 400 sport with an FMF turbine core 2 and a K&N airfilter and its already been bored over just alittle, i run a 240 in it at the moment with the needle at middle.....i figured it would be running lean but it seems to bog down right at start and it wont idle i think because its getting to much gas....so i was thinking to just lower the needle one noch???

The needle is not going to affect idle. You need to tune the pilot circuit with the mixture screw and idle screw.

ya, at idle...all your dealing with is the pilot jet and the throttle screw...your needle is for your mid.
