service on 700 efi
#1
i am in the middle of my first service on my 700 efi. i have all the plastic, racks, winch, tires, pretty much everything off. besides the basic p.m. is there anything that i should do or check. i have changed the oil, filters, greased the few zercks. i have been in alot of water, deep water, and am wondering if it is necessary to change out the diff. oils from the manufactar and put another oil in. i.e. amzoil synthetics.....the manual that you get from the dealer isn't really worth anything. so if anyone knows where i can get a service manual or cdrom for my 04 sportsman.
i will say one more thing. i love my sportsman. best machine i have ever been on. mudd, water, sand dunes, farm chores. most comfortable, quad i have personally put to work. thanks for any help, and remember the summer is almost over and snow will start falling to get back on the sleds......

just wondering why you took all the plastic and stuff off??? you should'nt need to do that just to service it for the first time....but if you have been in the water then i would say that you should drain the cluch cover {the red screw on the bottom} and drain oil and change the tranny oil and the front gearcase oil you can get that from polaris....i believe there is no rear end oil it is the tranny oil but i'm not sure...
