Just picked up my '05 DS650 Viper from Fourlix today, and when I got home I went to bolt on my sand tires, ... and ..., what's this? The wheels didn't fit. They are ITP T9 wheels for a DS650, and have a 4/143 bolt pattern. The bolt pattern on my '05 DS650 must be 4/144 front and rear, because I had to spend about a minute per wheel with a rat tailed file to get the 4/143 wheels to fit.

Just thought I would let people know that Bombardier finally ditched their bastard bolt pattern that no wheels were available for. Now we can get Honda bolt pattern wheels with a 4/144 bolt pattern for our DS650s. This should make it a whole lot easier to find wheels. In particular, carbon fiber Hiper tech wheels, and the new ITP C-Series sport quad wheels will now fit a DS650.

 

if that is so i wonder if the new hubs will fit the older axles to allow more choices in rims?

 

I'm not positive but isn't the honda rear bolt pattern smaller than the front? If so wouldn't that make it hard to find rear wheels?

 

You're right, Honda rear hubs are 4/110. And as far as I know the only ATV with a rear 4/143 bolt pattern is the '00 to '03 (maybe '04) DS650. And the only ATV with a rear 4/144 bolt pattern is the '05 DS650 (maybe '04 as well). So front wheels are now easier to find, and rear wheels will be harder to find.
