Default who has the K&N Pro flow kit for their raptor??

Ok I got this thing from Nossmachine.com and it has NO directions on instalation. It has the Bilet aluminum adaptor plate which is angled and has 6 screw holes. The fileter BARELY fits in the box and what the hell am I supposed to screw the plate to ? DO I drill holes? and what angle should it be up or down? Lemme know I have some time before I ride again... Thanks for the help...
P.S. what about the snorkle? Yank it or leave it?

Yank the snorkel, you should have received some screws to mount that and yes you have to drill some holes.

Your drill the holes where the filter hooks in at. On mine the adapter would only fit one way. There is a part of the adapter that slides down into the box. I had to cut the tabs in the bottom of my air box so the new filter would fit, and the same for the lid. You also need to cut the lips on the snorkel.

If you want, look at my pics page and see what I got. I did have a K&N before but switched it out with the PRO Flow filter. I cut the whole box off to the small tab that holds in the bracket. The best way I fitted mine was to line up the two intake holes first the best I can, then drilled the holes. I have seen others that just put the bracket in the slot and just drilled it there in place and the holes for the intake were not lined up. JMO

take your snorkel off. take your lid off put the plate in there angled up and mark the holes(well take out the airbox first.) mark the holes then drill them with a small drill then from the outside of the airbox is where u start the screws into the plate then clamp on your airfilter it might be a little tight just kinda work it in there leave the lid off and jet it up .. do you have a pipe.??

I hate it when you get no instructions after spending good money.

raptor owner , I can see how you cut away your box, clean too, The other thing is I'm having a helluva time getting the Box out so I can drill the holes too. Hoses detached and when the box is all the way back there are 2 male/female ends that are LONG that wont let me slide the BOX up and out. did any of you drill with the box in place or is that just dumb?

O K I got it out, Now I'll have to clean it and mark the 6 holes and then bolt it on. and you all say bold from the OUT SIDE IN , Makes sense. And is it safe to leave the LID off the box from here on with the snorkle detached as well or is that just a bad move. remember I'm at 5000 feet I need all the air I can get...

I'm interested in thi also. I plan on getting the same setup soon. Anyone have detalied instructions/pics of this install?

Raptorowner, did you get rid of most of your box? I definately can't do that because there are creek crossings/puddles where I ride.

Looks real nice though.
