Run about the same topend.

I seen a 250x and a 300ex run side by side for a whole drag race.

250x lighter, no electric start. Just really depends. If you have the cash get a 300EX, if you don't get the 250x. They are both just as good

I have a 250x it is a piece. but it was cheap 1500$ under any 300ex. I figured for 1500$ bucks u could make a pretty tricked out 250x. SO that what i am doing. OH ya ull regret getting electric start and all that electric crapt is pretty complex to me and it is just something to break so if u wnat reliability go wiht the 250x.
GEt something and ride hard
