Will a Wolverine beat a 400ex through the woods?

Here is my opinion.I could take an Indy car to Wal-Mart and smoke all the mini vans on the trip there. That is what a Indy car is supposed to do.I probably wouldn't have space to put any of my stuff I bought, but I bet those mini vans would. This is what a mini van is supposed to do.On the other hand if you put Rick Mears in the mini van,and my 16 year old sister in the Indy car,I bet the mini van would win.Even though the great advantage the faster car has.My point is that a Wolverine is a great bike and could win in any terrain but the 400 is supposed to go fast in the woods. With two equally talented riders aboard the two bikes,I would predict a 400 win.

Assuming that both quads had riders of the same ability on it, then the 400EX should easily beat the Wolverine. The Honda has a larger motor 397cc vs 348cc in the Yamaha, plus its 111 pounds lighter #374 vs 485.
This also assumes they are both stock.

Cory, I was going to say that I've read some of your other posts and thought that you were more intelligent than this particular question would indicate.
But I can see from your last post that you were just making a point.
I will say that I know I can beat a 400ex on my wolverine as long as we both have to drive in reverse.

squooze, I take by your statement that the wolverine does have reverse, since I know the 400ex doesn't.

Yes, the wolverine does have reverse, and yes I know that the 400ex doesn't, which is why I made the statement about being able to beat the 400ex in reverse.
BTW - If I hadn't needed to be able to do some utility work with my quad, I would have bought the 400ex instead of my 2000 wolverine.
