The rear disk could have been hit on a rock or damaged and bent somehow.
That would make it squeek when you just push it.

Mine makes the same noise....I thought it was only me......Seems to go away if I pry the rear skid plate around..I need to go aftermarket and see what happens...

So whats the story? Is this fixable and how? am I doing any damage by leaving it this way? Something to grease something to adjust? Something to smash then replace... what do you guys do?

I think that you should check out your disk, because that is the easiest thing to damage especially when you hit a lot of rocks. You can damage your disk even if you have a skid plate - I did. Just spin the axle and watch the disk to see if it is straight. See if it always squeeks in the same spot, if that happens then its the disk. You can buy a new on for about $50 or you could just deal with the sound. Your choice.
