Default New Front Brakes Courtesy Of Polaris

Well I've had my pred for about three months now, I recently noticed my front brakes were dragging, so I took it in to my dealer to get it checked out.

Well they called me today to tell me that I am getting my pads, discs, and rotors all replaced, of course under warranty. Apparently there was a bushing that had too much clearance around it so when i would apply the brakes the pad would move out of place and become crooked in the rotor.

So yea, I'm just glad polaris is replacing everything, cuz I'm not too sure how long they've been dragging and I'm sure i lost a fair bit of pad.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I am taking it to the dealer Tuesday morning. They first told my to check the level of the brake fuild and if the parking brake was on, but no such luck. I am sure there is someone who left the parking brake on , I am a drunk not stupid

How hard to turn were your hubs?
I was putting on my Dune tracker fronts on when I relized that the front tires wern't turnning freely. When I took off the tires the hubs were hung up so I could barely turn them.

What was the fix by your dealer?

Do your front tires turn free now?

I haven't gotten back the quad yet, but they are replacing the rotors, pads, and discs. It was pretty tough to turn the hubs, took a good amount of effort to turn them.

Do you guys think i would of lost much performance due to that? I dont think it would make much off a difference but who knows.

I have only riden LT500s till I bought this predator. The first thing I noticed was how quick the predator would slow down when coasting. I thought it was the 4 Stroke engine compression but now I think it was the front brakes.

When running it I could not really notice it but with the front brake always on it should be a little faster now!!
