I found a 99' banshee ad in the paper for $2,800. It says its in excellent condition and it has a pro circuit exhaust. Is this a good deal or too good of a deal(scam).

Well, sounds like good deal..... Call him up and go take a look at it..... Even if it needs a new top end that will only cost about 200$ with new pistons and all....... Who knows, you might even talk him down to 2500 or less...... Just make sure the frame is not bent or tweaked, pull on the A-arms and see if theres play in the bushings...... Check the rebound on the shocks...... Check the chain and sprokets....... Look at the brake pads......Look for rust on the bottom of the A-arms and Frame..... Check the play in the clutch...... Then tell him you will give him $2000, but your on your way to look at a few more first, and then see what he says?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
