get the jets.. Then take off the front plastics.. u can search around and find the bolts that are nessicary to take off. then turn off the gas on the switch and dissconnect the tube that goes from the tank to the carbs. then remove the 3 tank bolts .. then.. take off gas tank and get it out of the way .. now get a allen wrench and loosen the 4 allen bolts that hold the boots on and then slide the other tubes that are connected to teh carbs out of the way.. flip the carb over and very carefully undo the 4 (well 8) but 4 screws on teh botom of the carbs that hold the bowls on make sure u dont strip them.. then in the middle of the carb is where the main jet is take a flat head and unscrew it and then replace the new jet.. then do it to the other side.. then put it back together the way u took it apart dont tighten the bowl screws way to tight because they are hard to get back out

well you need to change ur needle position to what works best for you. its easiest to start at the 3rd clip position and work from there. to get to the needles all you need to do is take the gas tank off then undo the black tops of the carbs. pull out the diaphram being carefull then pull out the needle and adjust it. the fuel air screws may need to be adjusted but for a simple slip on i wouldnt change it to much. If you are putting on the slipon, are you going to replace the air filter and air box lid as well? I put the GYT-R slip on on my Rappy as well as replaced the original slip in filter with the K&N slip in filter and the K&N power lid. I think if i had it to do over i would have gotten the Pro Filter witht he aluminum adaptor. Anyways, when i boutht the filters and the slip on i ordered the GYT-R jet kit. It had a new pilot jet, new needles, and plenty of new jets. I have my carbs set as follows:
25 pilot jets
GYT-R Needles with clip in middle notch
160 main on the left carb and 165 main on the right carb
air screw on left carn three turns out, two turns out on the right carb
that is what the instructions recommended and i havent had any trouble since i got the fuel level set finally.
The fuel level on mine is set right at the mating surface, to measure it take a piece of 1/8inch clear tubing, cut it off about a foot long and slip in on the bowl drain nipple. Hold the tube up beside the carb and open the drain screw, the fuel will flow into the tube and show you the fuel level.
Good luck on this little adventure, Plan on spending a coule of hours or an afternoon to get it all right and try not to pull out too much hair over it.
