Just picked up one of these bikes. Came across a lever on the tranny that states high and low. If I understand correctly this is suppose to shift the tranny from low to high etc. Only problem is that the bike runs when lever is in low but when I shift it to the high position it doesn't run. It acts as if it was in neutral. Is there a special way this need to be done or is it not working? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Be sure it is engaging all the way. They can be stubborn if that trike has seen rough days in the past.

If it is moving the full distance but not engaging, chances are that either the fork slider is broke or the high drive gear....or both.
