i know, i know, another jetting ? but please help me out!

ok, i have a 2004 blaster and i just installed a k&n hi flow air filter, there ae no other mods. in a recent post some one told me to get the most out if it i need to jet up. wen i first put the filter on i took the air lid off and rode it and when i gave it full throttle it felt like it was powerless and wasnt impressive at all and made a throatier sound.i oput the lid back on , got the regular sound back on , but it feels the same as when i first brang it home. so the main jet now is 230. there was a 240 that came under the seat , should i put it in? and do i need to change the needle clip position, it is at the second clip now. please help i dont want it to become wasted money for the same performance. thanx.................Jerry

just try putting the bigger main jet in that should be enough, but if not. go ahead and change your needle one position. But all you shoud have to do is change the main a little bit!

thanx, do they make jets only in by 10s? like do they make a 235? also how tight does the jet have to be? how much difference will the filter with the right jet size make? what color should my spark plug be. thanx!
