What all comes in the CrayCraft 686 Kit for $1600?
#1
I've been looking at 686 kits and looked on CrayCraft's site, since all I hear is good things. I looked at what all came with the one for $1600 but got very confused looking at it. I think it comes with the valves, piston, sleeve, anything else? Porting? I will do My Rod change by Myself and have the local shop balance it out. My Raptor is plenty for me now but some day soon I'm gonna step up....Thanks

Craycraft 686 - $1600
Piston
Stage 1 or 2 Cam
Stock size or +1mm over ferrea valves
port and polish w/ 3 angle valve job
heat and friction coatings
bore and hone the cylinder
kibble white valve springs
jet's for stock carb's
cometic hp gaskets
valve stem seals
That is the kit you get for $1600. Give Bob and call and he will assist you in anyway that he can. It's a awesome kit, and you won't be disappointed.

Thanks, that's basically all I want. What did you all get,I've been hearing a lot about yours but nothing hard packed on what you have....Thanks again. Oh and any estimate on HP with the Stage 2 Hot Cam and 11:1 Piston? I'm wanting like 50-60 HP at the Crank.

At the crank...Ha! With a well tuned 686 you will have 50+ at the rear wheels. With high comp, FCR's, and the right setup, you can get 65+ on a 686.
With a 11:1, Stage 2 cam, and the correct jetting and drilling on your stock carb's, you will have a realistic 55hp at the rear wheels, and still be running 93 pump gas.

When I had Sparks do mine it was at 61 hp on the dyno, now with the way Bob set it up, I am feeling its at least 65 hp now. I got all the goodies from him except the porting which was done all ready by Sparks. This thing runs pretty good for me....
