Default Craycraft 686 Broken In :)

It"s official... I'm broken in and ready to race. My father and uncle are still waiting for their motors from Sparks, while I'll be racing my a$$ off waiting for them. If 14mins, or bob reads this thread, ( I know you will) my father and uncle pitched in and picked me up some fcr's for my birthday, what a present, huh. They ordered the carbs from sparks and I used the same jetting they recommended I put in, I think it was 145, 148. I'll give you guys a call in a few days anyway. Enough about that, I am extremely impressed, to say the least, and all I've done is the break in. I'm just dying to race someone. My first trip will probably be Bowie, AZ. Get it broken in on all of the farm roads and some small dunes. Anyways, I will keep everyone updated on how it runs. Any input on the jetting will be appreciated. By the way the engine seemed to run cooler than stock!
thanks,
tom
props to craycraft and the gang
service is extremely excelent, no complaints at all
I'm out!!

Tom- Great b-day present. (fcr's) Give bob a call in a few days for some jetting info. He has spent hours getting those fcr's right. or pm Raptrcr about jetting specs. You should have yours dialed in perfectly by the time they get theres running. It takes a long time to get every pony out of built motor.

thank you

Raptorfam, Tucson huh? I grew up in Tucson, east side.

Anyway, you should bring that thing up next time we have a day at the river. Usually on Sat nights at the Hasyumpa river, 300 foot drags, you'll have plenty of racing to keep you busy. I'll let you know of the next outing.
