Default Raptor Carb help

I just put on a Yoshi slip on, Pro K&N and rejetted with 146/148, 3rd clip on needles and 3 turns out on the mixture screws. My Raptor runs good but I feel like it has lost some top end. I didnt mod my airbox at all except for the baffles. Is this a jetting problem or should I just mod my airbox?

Well you can be close, anytime you open up the fuel you have to compensate for the air as well. I would try running it without the lid and see how it runs unless your lid holds your airfilter in then I dont know.

Default Raptor Carb help

I tried running it without the lid and didnt seem much better. I need to keep my lid on because I do ride thru water sometimes. I would rather just cut some holes in it if I have to. In general, if the quad is losing top end what is the problem?

Top end would be mains but you should be good up to 2000' or so with those mains. If it's hot humid and your at a higher elevation you might want to try the next size down.

My elevation is a couple hundred feet (100-200) over 2000 ft. Should I change out the mains? If so, which would ou recommend?

I would jet it for where you ride the most and just leave it.

Basically, if I am only losing top end, it would be that the jets are to big=rich, so if I do cut some holes in my airbox, then more air should lean it out some??
