Trailer for a Polaris 500
#1
Hey everyone.
I am looking into buying a polaris 500 my first bike but many people i have spoke to have suggested this bike.
However. unlike them i don';t have a pickup to go around with it.
Anyone know what the minimum width of the trailer should be?
On the polars site it says the width is 46 should i be ok with a 48 inch wide trailer?
let me know what you think.
Thanks
Eddie

I paid $700 US for a 5x10 utility trailer with a folding ramp, side rails, pressure treated wood floor, and full size tires. It was from a local guy who builds them from a kit. I would say try and find something a little bigger. The Sportsman SHOULD fit, but you only have 2" of clearence there. If you even decide to upgrade your tires or wheels, you could run into problems there.
