Default Raptor...Does it have a flywheel?

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if the Raptor has a flywheel and if so could it be milled down to increase throttle response and make it rev quicker? And, if so, what would be the downsides to doing this?

Yes they have flywheels and I've heard of them being lightened. Particulars I know nothing about.

I didn't see anything on their website for raptors, but I emailed them to see if they make them. Thanks for the recommendation. Supposably lightening the flywheel will indeed increase throttle response and make it rev quicker, which is what I want. I'll keep everyone posted.

It will also make it less torquey and stall quicker.

How does it make it stall easier? Isn't that controllable by dialing in the idle? Or are you talking about when applying the clutch at slow speeds?

With less rotating weight (inertia), you have a potentially quicker revving engine at the expense of the increased potential of stalling.

I wouldnt lighten my flywheel unless I had enough power to keep pulling HARD.

Come on, think hard for me, please! J/K, but I would love to know who makes them?
