Default Plastic Polish?

Time to sell an older atc I have and I need to clean it up. I remember having read about fine sandpaper for removing scratches and did so with some 1500 grit (wet) but how fine do I need to go and how do I get it to really shine again? Thanksguys, Rick.

Default Plastic Polish?

OK to put it one way, "Plastic Renew." It is a kit that comes with 220, 320, and 400 grit sand paper, Steel wool, and some magic goo! I bought it for my used Z400 and this stuff made it look great! I must admit, it takes a lot of work! Just keep sanding until it plastics are really smooth. Once they are apply this stuff about 7-8 times and then spray some finish on it and it will look great! Good luck! Oh the Plastic renew kit is about $15-$20 bucks and I think it is by PC racing. It works great! (just remember sand until you can't sand any more)
