Looking to Buy a Scrambler (What should I look for?)

Hello,

I am looking to buy the wife a used Scrambler 500, Is there anything I should look out for besides the normal wear stuff?

Look for something 98 and newer (the 97's were the non H.O. motor). The 00's and newer have the long travel suspension too. The 01's got some upgraded steering parts and steel braided brake lines. Other than that, check all fluids and look for the normal stuff
