Who would win on bottom, mid, and top end? Who over all is faster? Also, if a bone stock scrambler 500 4wd was raced against a raptor 350, who would win in bottom, mid and top end? one more thing, when drag racing, is it best to keep it in 4wd all the time? will this effect speed? thanks alot.

 

I am thinking the Scram would beat the 600 all around due to its weight and it should be geared a little higher for the top speed.

I would think (I claim to know nothing about the 350) that the 500 would beat the 350 in bottom and mid due to larger engine and auto trans, but the 6-speed might put the 350 higher in top speed.

It would depend on traction whether or not 4WD would be an advantage, and it should not affect top speed.

 

I hear the 500 and 400 are preytty close with the 400 being slightly faster. So...Before I did the mods to the 400 my 700 would take it without a problem in loose terrain in 4x4. In 2x4 the 700 still would have the Scrambler but just slightly off the line. In high traction situation the 400 wins. With the new mods i dont think it woukd be close, I'll let you guys know.

 

The Scram should be able to take the 600 due to the weight factor. It should also be able to take the raptor/warrior 350. The raptor/warrior 350's claimed top speed is a few mph less than the scrams

 

No question, unless it's muddy, the scrammy would beat a 600, although the 600's no slouch it's got power up the wazoo- it's just doesn't have the power to weight ratio.
