Default Front CV boot question on a Sportsman

Well, during my brake fiasco, I discovered that I have a torn CV boot in the front. This is on an '02 Sportsman 400. I've replaced rear ones before, but the front looks to be a different animal. It looks to me like I'll have to unbolt the A-arm in order to be able to pull the hub away enough to slide the axle out of the CV joint. I was just curious if anyone has a procedure for this that might save me a little time. Thanks for any help.
