Fuel Shutoff Knob
#1
When we were out riding this past weekend, somewhere along the line my wife lost her fuel shut-off ****. I guess it just fell off when the screw worked its way out. So we shut it off with a pair of pliers - and called the local Arctic Cat dealer to order a new one. The parts girl says, "Oh, let me see if that order came in yet. I ordered a bunch of those last week". I asked her if this was a familiar problem. She said, "Oh yes!". So, my name is on the "call when it comes in" list, and I have since taken the **** off my machine and put Lok-Tite on the screw and 're-installed'.
Point here is, maybe you should ALL do this - before you have to put yourself on the "call when it comes in" list...

mine fell off as well.
the good thing is we were stoped having a break and my freind said that my switch looked like it was going to fall off so i went up to it an touched it to see if it was loose and it fell off in my hand.
the ac dealer gave me a new screw and i also lock tighted it on as well.

Boy, I guess my dealer was right. "Everyone's" shut-off is falling off. Ha.
I gotta call them today and see if the parts are in. I don't want to keep using pliers to operate the valve. Thanks for chiming in on this.
