Err. ..

Simple things first, did you check the fuses !? ... I have a main fuse I think it's a 30 amps, it is not in the fuse box, it's on the side, I have
a Foreman 450 ES 1998 . . .

The fuse was loose and the shifter wasn't shifting ...
An easy fix ..

Don't change everything if you don't know the source .. It may even be a wire that was cut or something stupid ..

I don't understand why people so often blame the ecu ....

that is true, i hate when people just jump to the conclusion that they have a serious problem when it could jsut as easily be something simple. i always start with the simple things and rule them out, then move on to the next thing.

Already it(he,she) looks at the fuses it was the first thing that I did, I gave the manual of repair to my mechanic there there are steps to continuing and it(he,she) gave fault in the ecu, they changed it but it(he,she) continues the fault, they know if reset the ecu? Thank you and they excuse my translation

Hmm..

Let's see.... if a connection is loose it may also cause a problem ..
You say it's a problem with the ECU .. I don't get it ..
The ECU is what analyzes the problems, if you have a problem with it, it will just not function . .
And you say your 2 ECUs were giving the same diagnostic code!? .. Than the previous ECU was functionning properly ..

You must have a bad connection somewhere, get a multimeter and check the connection points of your sensors.

You want to troobleshoot, than just unplug the sensors and see what the ECU give you for a diagnostic code.. if the code
is different, then the sensors are ok ...
You must use imagination ..

But, if it is Really the ECU . . . Then, replacing it would have solved the problem . .I don't believe that you need to reset the
ECU, but if it's the case, I think you have to switch the Quad ON/OFF with both Shifter Buttons pushed ...Something like that . . .

Well, my manual says this : To get the diagnostic mode on the 2002 model (Foreman ES), Swithc ON-OFF-ON ... the Gear indicator
will blink x Times to tell you the problem .. And you seem to be right, there is a fault about the ECU .. 1 flash . ..

But there is nothing about reseting the ECU .. So you may still have a problem .

Hola again they followed(continued) the steps of the manual and step the following thing the new one ecu I do not work (IT(HE,SHE) WAS FOR ANOTHER MODEL MARK ELESYS), the antigo (MARK NEC) anduvo and due to the fact that they found the fault in the engine of electrical changes, this was working nevertheless but it was not the sufficient thing to move the changes, now it(he,she) walks alternativly and we see if we change the engine, of I give thank you very much for your attention.

The simple things to start with are
Is the battery holding the charge? It may need a load test to be sure.
Is the proper type of oil being used? Is it clean, and the proper level.
Adjust the clutch, ...this usually fixes the problem.
