Default 450R exhaust reviews

alright i know its been posted atleast a 100 times. but i want people who have the 450R with an exhaust to tell me what kind and how good it is, how much it cost, stuff like that. i have a couple in mind Fat boy 4, DMC, and the yoshimura comp. series. but still undecided. any replies would be appreciated.

I found from dyno testing. 2 comp exhaust systems that work very well. White Bros E-5 Carbon, or Curtis Sparks. With the factory HRC kit installed you will need to run a 195 main jet..Be carefull on modifying airbox lid and filter. 450 is very bull headed on its air flow.

Remember that Honda has built an exhaust system that works extremely well with that motor, and if you can handle it being that quite I would save your money....it seems that all other exhaust systems just make it louder with little or no HP increase.

I think the Curtis Sparks system looks pimp.

the only thing left from my hrc kit is the cam and vents . the kits good , but .......im very pleased with the lrd full system and recomend it highly . its a little loud but a supertrapp 4" disk pack can be added without modification and brings the noise way down . i would also say that the curtis and the ct are also top notch and will also accept the disks . with the cam , pipe and filter i dynoed 8-10 horse over stock . it depended on jetting , elevation , air temp..........
