Default vinson brakes

I just traded and got a new vinson. My front brakes seems aweful weak. Has anyone else noticed this problem or is it just where they are new? I may blead them in a few days or later mite put steal braided lines.

Take that thing back to the dealer, as it sounds like they "need to bleed!". The only time I've ever felt the brakes "get" weak, was directly after getting buried in a "soup" pit. Mud/sand, somehow, pushed the piston back into the caliper. As soon as I pumped 'em after running down a creek to wash that gunk out, they were back to normal. While not the strongest brakes, I don't consider them weak.

Welcome to the forum, and good luck!

Hey Vinson 581, I seen where you have put the locker in the front end. How do you like it? Was it a hassle to get it and can you still take it out of 4x4. Also thanks for the welcome but I have been a member for a long time. My computer crashed and lost my password and could never get them to send me another one. So I just started all over.

oh, well i love the locker single handed best thing i put in, next to tires. i can still take it out of 4x4, and put in in 2wd and slide with the best of them steering effort is increased a little on pavement in 4x4 ONLY, other than that you can't tell you have it untill you need it in the rocks and mud, and realize that all 4 wheels are pulling!
