Default First ride report!!

I finally got to ride my bike after making quite a few modifications. I tore it down all the way to the frame did some custom lowering of the front shock mounts, sent the motor to rick ritter got it bored, ported, head mod, girdle kit.

When i went to start it i was pleasently surprised It started on the first pull. I took it down the driveway and had to drive on the road for maybe 100 yards to get to the entrance to a field that I ride in. As soon as i touched the pavement I gave it a little throttle but when i let off the gas it stuck Since i lowered the front end I realized it was toed-in pretty bad so when i turned on to the pavement and the gas stuck things got a little squirrely the bike was really darting side to side and even the back tires were coming probably a foot and a half off the ground Luckily i flipped the kill switch quickly and got it to the side off the road safely. After checking my pants I found that the reason the gas stuck was because the throttle cable was being pinched by the gas tank.

After fixing that I rode it again and was very pleased with the added power I didn't get on it to much because i want to break it in slowly as rick suggested but even without ever getting over 3/4 throttle i could definitely tell there was a huge power difference.

My plug looks surprisingly good i have my needle clip all the way down and a 42 pilot.

Isn't power a beautiful thing. Don't forget to retorque your cylinder to block nuts since it was heated up good.
