Default Bend Steering Post?

I tore down my ATV and noticed my steering post was bent about 5 degrees. Is it possible to just bend it back and for it to be ok or should I buy a new one? It costs about 150 bucks from partsland. This is for a predator 2003. Thanks in advance.

Once metal is bent, it has lost most of it's strength.

Yep once it is bent, it will just bend there again, possibly in a time that you don't want it to.....I always fix things right, so I know when I get to riding hard that my machine will hold up underneath me. Plus a good thing about broken parts is that you get to fix them with aftermarket parts, which are usually better and lighter. You could, if money isn't a big problem, get the HPD anti-vibe stem, it will reduce arm fatigue, and will probably never bend. It is a very nice item.....I think modquad has one in his pics page.
