I am goeing to purchase a new three wheeler or maby a quad if i can find one that isnt to much and im trying to decide between two either a 85-86 250R or a 350X i like the four stroke because its more reliable but my friends are telling me that they arent that fast and i wouldent be able to keep up with anyone in the dunes. how fast are they? please help me decide

 

I would think that a ATC250R or a 350X would be able to keep up with just about everything. You mentioned dunes so I would probably lean towards the R. I have actually never ridden a 350x, but my 83 R will go just about everywhere with those big Stryker tires.
