Trailblazer 250 mods Please help me!
#1
Hey, i have a trailblazer 250. The power is just not cutting it. I was just wondering what kind of mods i would need to do to be able to keep up with a stock warrior and mabey a scrambler 500 4x4. I was thinking the RCR stage 1 kit, but i am not sure about it. If i put the RCR stage 1 kit in my stock tb, and a weseco piston, how fast will my machine be able to go and will i be able to keep up and pass a stock warrior? thanks alot.

I can tell you that you wont even come close to a warrior with the rcr kit. Not even with the HPD pipe. The warrior is alot faster than people think and it has a 6th gear. When I had just a pipe and clutch kit I was able to beat it off the line but when it hit 3rd gear it was gone. A warrior can do about 63-65 mph. My highly moded 250 will do 67. I can beat a warrior the whole way now but top speed is not far off. If you want to beat a warrior or even a scrammy then you are looking at the HPD race mod or the aaen stage 4-5 kit. Then you will hit 65mph. If you want that kind of speed then thr rcr will not cut it.

I dont use race gas with all the mods that I have. I use a higher octane fuel. You can get the HPD trailpipe, Agressive clutch kit, bigger carb, porting mill the head and this will get you close.

if i buy the hpd trailpipe, do i need to buy a muffler with that or what? I wouldnt like it to be too loud because i would ride on public trails. Also, with the rcr mid pipe, is it forestry approved? is the hpd forestry aproved?

ok hold on. Im sorry i caused you guys a lot of trouble but i wouldnt need to hang with a warrior, i would need to hang with a sportsman 500 that goes 52. My trailblazer right now does 48 (i got it on gps) and the sportsman pulls ahead. Will i keep up with the rcr stage 1 kit?
