Default Z250 Choke Lever

My choke lever is stuck in the up position (off). For some reason i can't put the choke on. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know why this would be happening?

is the whole lever physically stuck or it just doesn't go on?

The whole lever is physically stuck. It barely moves.

yeah check for dirt like perwho said, but if you're still having trouble, take the thing apart. but be careful putting it back together cause it's real hard getting the screws back in

Well, this means that it has to be something in the carb right? Does anyone know how to remove the cable from the carb? I think you just have to unscrew it but I'm not sure.

Aaran, yah good advice there buddy. Gee thanks for the help.
