Z250 Choke Lever
Hi,
The choke plunger is probably stuck in the carb due to some dirt. You will have to clean it. But this is not so hard job, I made it on my LTF250 (Ozark) by myself however I am totally unskilled :-)
The only issue is that you have to remove the carb, otherwise you cannot reach the nut.
But removing the carb is not so difficult. It is enough to loosen the carb clamp screws (before and behind the carb!). You do not need to disconnect any cable, just pull it 5 cm out. Then you can reach and unscrew the nut and pull out the plunger. Just be careful when pulling out the plunger, because the spring could shoot. Then clean the plunger and the hole and apply some WD40. Check if it works correctly by pulling the lever up and down (see my video), than remount the whole staff.
