my dad knows someone who has a 1998 trail blazer 250 that has been bored out to a 400 and is selling it for $1,000. i was wondering how the reliability would be on it. any info is appreciated

Sure you can turn a 250 into a 400........toss the entire 250 in the trash and put in a 400 engine, lol

 

thats what i was thinkin, i was really skeptical, but didnt know if it was possible.

 

well it said bored to a 400 so thats the impression i got

 

when my dad gets home from the lake on tuesday im gonna get the guys number and ask him a few questions about it and see if he still stands by what he says it is...it could get kinda funny depending on what he says

that could be it i dont know, i never talked to the guy it was a friend of my dads who told my dad who told me, so the info couldve been scrambled a bit by the time it got to me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

You can put a 300 cylinder on it and then bore to a 350. I am in the middle of having mine done, and it also getting a 12mm stroke

 

i hope its just a 400 sport, ive been wantin somethin with more power than the 250 and this seems like a pretty good deal, as long as its been taken care of...
