ds not getting fuel
#2
First try draining the carb bowl with the drain screw at the bottom of the fuel bowl. Turn off the fuel petcock first and after the gas has drained from the carb turn on the gas to see how it flows, it should start flowing through the drain tube pretty good. This will tell you if you have fuel and get rid of water that can sit trapped in the bottom of the carb.
We really need more input to determine your problem, does the bike run at all for instance? how do you know it doesn't get fuel, what have you tried? Did you check for spark? Did you try starting fluid?

It is getting spark for sure. The plugs fired and I even put in new ones to make sure. When I put my finger over the head with one plug out to test compression, they come out dry. There is definitly no fuel getting into the engine. There is plenty of fuel in the carb, I did drain it and then see if it still flowed.
It has had started problems in the recent past. It took a long time to get to start, and it ran fine when it did. This time I can't even get it to fire.
I'll try most ideas anyone has and would appreciate the help.

Pour a few cap fulls of gas in the plug hole, then try to start her, if she starts at all, yp you have a fuel issue. My advice would be to take the carb off, and do a thorough cleaning with all parts removed and inspected.
