Well I am new the the ATV world. was talking with people and reading some post here.
Alll i got to say is this bike was well worth the money. I have tried it on anything and it kicks ***.
the only peoblem I have is on my very first ride not even 3 miles i hit something and got a flat.. had it patched and it works like a charm. thank god i had some patches on me with a air pump.
overall this is a crazy machine.
what kind of modifications can you do to this bike anyone got some good ideas?
let me know

the polaris transmissions are able to be modded pretty nicley.... u might want to check out www.hotseatperformance.com for a speed kit or pipe, that'd be an ok start
a winch would also be good for u on the Sportsman

Welcome to the forum ekazmer. I have a 2002 500ho and haven't put any mods on it yet. I really don't know if it needs any other then different front springs maybe. I am thinking about getting some different tires and rims. Someday I want to get a winch. If I was you I would wait and see where your hard earned dollars can best be spent on mods for you. The first thing I would buy is a service manual for your 500 and get to know your machine. Put hours on it and see what you don't like about it then decide what mods you want to make.
