Default Yamaha is dropping the Ball....

As a current 01 Raptor owner it's a frown upon my face to see that Polaris is making such dramatic changes to there Predator 500 for 2005 & Yamaha changed the footpegs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yamaha can you up the ante & put some arm pulling power to the 660r.

no.

And remember the predator is playing catchup. so what if it has a few more aftermarket parts.

Raptor = a good bike. I do agree some extra upgrades would be nice, but that takes time.

Dont hold your breath on Rappy uprades, look at the Banshee,Warrior,Wolverine and Blaster. Most HUGE companies dont bother with "upgrades".
The 05 PREDATOR looks to be an improovment on an already great machine.

I have not read any thing about the predator yet. What have they done or upgraded for 2005?

How hard would it be to put wider axles and a-arms on. For the height of the Raptor, it should be at least 45" wide, not 43". Just this alone would make a huge handeling difference.

The 05' PRED has upgraded shocks, a NEW closer ratio, and SILKY smooth transmission, oh.... and REVERSE!!

Thr Rappy has been out for going on 5 years, Now that the YFZ has taken away all of it MX sales, Yamaha should make the Rappy more comfortable, and make it a couple inches shorter, and longer. IMO. BUT they NEVER will.
