This is wut im hearing, is this true. If it was i would imagine that it would blow the YFZ away pretty much no contest!

That would be pretty sweet if it's true, and I hope it is. But the Predator is still a pretty hefty machine to put up against the 450s.

It is 100% true. Those new rezzy shocks and reverse must add 15 additional horsepower over the 04 pred.

omfg....HORSEPOWER DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING!, raptors (i think) and shees (for sure) are producing more hp then a yfz, and the yfz blows both of them away stock for stock......ITS ALL ABOUT THE SETUP horsepower doesnt mean everything bud...

or the reverse man! That must add atleast 5 or 6hp. It would be hard to believe it was pushing 50hp. LT500s only pushed around there. And thats 500 2 stroke and 500 4 stroke. It's possible, but unlikely.

yah power to weight ratio is alot higher on the YFZ i am sure as it is only 350lbs....the predator is a heft 75 more, thats ALOT!

Im just curious how well it does shoved up against a YFZ for GNCC Style Racing...or Hare Scrambles, not stock but not decked out either i would think the YFZ would be better in every aspect!

I have heard all the hoopla in the polaris forum about how great the pred is with the new upgrades, but I'm doubting 50hp stock.

Reverse and the new shocks are great. I even heard they gave them a boost in rpm's, but I don't figure 50hp.

well...a raptor is listed at 37 hp with a 660 (45 w/ a pipe)
the yfz is 41 hp with a 450 (almost 50 w/ a pipe)
pred is 50hp with a 500....sure y not (almost ??? w/ a pipe)

shows you were the technology is going

wonder how a raptor would do with a yfz 450 engine...lol

I am looking forward to hearing the reviews on the new pred

maybe Yamaha will turn it up a notch with the raptor in 06

If it were true(doubtful unless trinity dynoed it, lol) it will just fall apart even faster than most polarises do
