A friend of mine has been looking at quads, and came across a neighbor selling a 2000 Scrambler 2X4 400 for $2600, and a 2000 Trail Blazer for $1600. They are in good looking condition, and he said they havent been used alot due to a child being born a year after they were bought. This seems like a good price to me, but I own Kawasaki's, and am not up to date with the resale of Polaris, or 2 strokes. Also, any maintenance issuse known about these quads?

those prices are about right but you can't lose anything to make an offer. I bought my 2000 400 for 2k but the lady was asking $ 2,500. It needed some maintainance (and mods) but it has been a great quad and very FAST! All my friends (and a few unsuspecting z400 and Honda owners) are suprized what an auto can do.
