Some good air filters are Uni, Twin Air, and K and N. I think a lot of people on here have the K and N.

K&N are good filters, but their more of an on-road filter, their not good for water/mud and fine sand. and the cost about 50$. People just are into them because of all the hype on tv. I got a Uni filter for my quadracer for 25$ and it works perfect, good boost in performance with good fileration and it is a dual stage system. Just remember to put air filter oil on it! alot of people forget and then the filter doesnt work!

okay, but the ones on ebay for 42 bucks... is that all i need. it looks like they have a big hole in the end. what stops water and dirt from getting in there?
