next mod i should do?

Default next mod i should do?

i have a 400 scrambler 01' all stock but a k&n filter added. curious what recommendations anyone has as to the next inexpensve mod i should do. i ride alot in the woods and some down at the sand. thanks for help!!!!

you'll need to do some homework to find out what clutch kit will work best for you. it all depends on what type of riding you do.

Default next mod i should do?

Before my buddy piped his Tblzr 400, I got him a Polaris violet primary spring. It perked the quad up a lot and allowed it to hit when the power band kicked in instead of several 100 rpm before it.

If I were you, I would save up for the RCR stage 1 kit. $325 W/ free shipping. A pipe and clutch kit work best when they are matched to one another

CAN YOU CHANGE SPRINGS WITH A STOCK PIPE, I RID ALOT IN THE WOODS AND IN THE SAND

That's what we did. His stock spring seemed to let the quad engage several 100 rpm before the stock pipe developed any useful power. That's when I got him the violet spring. It made good use of the powerband on the stock pipe. Plus it only cost $20.

Very easy. Not really any special tools involved unless you consider a torque wrench a special tool. Even then it's not required, but a good idea.
