Default 01 Warrior Missing at High RPM

I recently changed my oil, oil filter and spark plug this weekend on my 01 warrior. While riding now I notice a skipping and lack of power at higher RPMs. Overall the bike is much slower too. I cant see how oil could cause this problem? Could it be the spark plug or spark plug gap??? It just doesnt make much sense. Im new to ATVing so your help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like spark plug to me if anything, unless you washed it and got the some wires loose. I would put the old plug in and try it or go get anohter new one.

try cleaning your carbs.. if not.. pull the crank case breather tube off at the top were it goes to the air box and ride it.. and see if steam/smoke comes out of it.. my warrior did that.. and i notice steam/smoke coming out of htat and then a few dayz later BOOM went the lower rod bearing..
