How exactly does the lighting work on quads/dirt bikes? The stator determines the wattage output, correct? Do your lights have to be more or less watts than the stator? and a Regulator/Rectifier prevents the lights from dimming when the rpms drop?

 

yep, yep, and yep.......the lights have to be less that the max of the stator, or you will fry it.

 

what about the Regulator/Rectifier output? If it is set up for 12 volt DC power does that affect the stator or light wattage?
